Advertisements

I see far more advertisements than I'd like to, to be honest — they follow me around the internet. The ones that actually work on me tend to be funny or beautifully filmed rather than pushy; if an ad respects my intelligence, I'll at least watch it to the end. I rarely buy things directly because of an advert, but I'm sure they shape my choices more than I realise, especially for snacks and apps. The ads I genuinely dislike are the ones that interrupt a video at the worst moment — they make me think worse of the brand, not better.
