Public gardens and parks

There are more parks in my city than there used to be, though still not enough for the number of people. The one nearest me gets packed at about five in the morning with older people doing tai chi, and then again after dinner with families and couples — it's practically empty in between. I mainly go there to walk, but I appreciate it most on hot days, because it is noticeably cooler under the trees than out on the road. If I could change one thing, I'd add more benches and better lighting; a lot of the space is unusable after dark.
