Q: Do you read much? A: Fairly consistently, yes — usually before bed, which is partly a genuine habit and partly a deliberate way of avoiding screens right before sleeping. It's mostly fiction, with the occasional non-fiction book when something catches my interest. I wouldn't call myself a fast reader, but I'm a steady one. Q: What was the last thing you read? A: A novel a friend recommended, actually, one I probably wouldn't have picked up myself — it's outside the genre I normally go for. I'm about two-thirds through it, and I'll admit it took me a while to get into, but it's grown on me the further I've gone. Q: Do you prefer paper or screen? A: Paper, without much hesitation, even though I know it's slightly impractical. There's something about a physical book that makes it easier to focus — no notifications, no temptation to switch tabs — and I like having a shelf that reflects what I've actually read rather than a list buried in an app. Q: Did you read a lot as a child? A: Enormously, yes, probably more than I do now if I'm being honest. I went through phases of finishing a book every couple of days, mostly fantasy series, and I remember genuinely resenting anything that interrupted reading time. I think that early habit is a large part of why I still find it easy to sit down with a book now.
