Which social media apps do you use? Facebook because everyone in my family is on it, and Instagram, though I mostly just watch. I deleted TikTok last year and haven't missed it. How much time do you spend on them each day? Probably an hour, spread across the day in small pieces, which is the part I don't like — it's not one hour, it's forty interruptions. Do you post often, or mostly watch? Mostly watch. I post maybe once a month, usually a photo of food, which I'm aware is not very original. Do you think you will use them more or less in future? Less, I hope. I've already moved most of my actual conversations to messaging, so what's left is scrolling, and that's the part I'd cut first.
