Describe a TV programme you like

The programme I keep coming back to is a nature documentary series, the kind narrated in that very calm, unhurried voice, which airs new seasons every couple of years rather than on any predictable schedule — I tend to binge whatever's new over a weekend rather than watching it week by week. Each episode usually follows a particular environment, deep ocean, a specific forest, that kind of structure, tracking a handful of animals within it over what's clearly months or years of filming condensed into fifty minutes, which is part of what I find so impressive about it. What happens, essentially, is very little dialogue and a lot of extraordinarily patient camera work — you'll get several unbroken minutes just watching some creature do something completely mundane, and somehow it's gripping anyway. Why I like it, beyond just the visuals, which are obviously stunning, is that it's one of the only things I watch that doesn't leave me feeling like I've wasted time afterwards, which is more than I can say for most of what's on my watch list. There's also something quite calming about the pacing itself, in an age where most television is edited to hold your attention every three seconds — this show trusts you to just sit with a shot for a while, and I think that trust is actually the thing I've come to value most about it, more than the animals or the scenery, if I'm honest.
