Rainy days

My relationship with rain depends entirely on where I am when it starts. If I'm at home with nothing planned, I honestly enjoy it — the sound on the roof makes the whole flat feel cosier, and it's the perfect excuse to stay in with tea and a series. But if I'm on my motorbike, rain is my enemy: the roads flood quickly in my city, traffic crawls, and you arrive everywhere soaked despite the raincoat. In the rainy season I always check the sky before leaving and keep a spare poncho under the seat — a habit every commuter here develops sooner or later.
