Describe a piece of good news you received recently

The good news I'd like to describe arrived about two months ago, when my older sister called to say she had finally been accepted onto a nursing programme in Australia. To understand why this was such big news: she had applied twice before and been rejected both times, mostly because of her English scores, and after the second rejection she almost gave up completely. She'd spent two years studying at dawn before her hospital shifts. When her name finally appeared on the acceptance list she called our family group video call, and for the first thirty seconds nobody actually spoke — my mother just kept covering her mouth. What made the news so sweet wasn't really the university itself; it was watching someone rebuild her confidence after two public failures. We printed the acceptance email and my father framed it, which my sister finds deeply embarrassing and secretly loves.
